Ren-Yen. Drugs for specific channels for headaches: Taiyang, JiangHuo; Yangming, BaiZhi; Saoyang, ChaiHu; Taiyin, CangZhu; Saoyin, XiXin; Jueyin, WuZhuYu. The differences between Jiang, Fang, ChuanXiong, Sheng, Chai, XiXin, and GaoBen in treating headaches are expelling wind in different channels. Whereas that of Qin, Lian, Zhi, Bo, ShiGao, and ShengDi are for dispelling fire in different organs. With Qin and Ze for expelling water. With Shen and Qi for invigorating chi.
